The Radix One Slim Wallet is a pure passion project. I wanted to try my hand at designing and developing my own product and also learn how to market and sell something new.

The inspiration for the design came from an unlikely place, the chiropractor. During one of my visits to the chiropractor, I was told that having a thick wallet in my back pocket was causing a slight tilt in my pelvis. This was contributing to my lower back pain. I tried putting my wallet in my front pocket but it was bulky and uncomfortable. This led me on a quest to design something simple and low profile.

The design is fairly simple. A silicone band wraps around two polycarbonate parts to sandwich credit cards and IDs in the middle. The band also acts as a money clip and holds cash on the outside. The wallet is designed to hold 4-10 cards comfortably.
